A menu can look complete and still be offering a signature this desk does not have.
The short list is audits, reviews, compilations, exams of prospective figures, agreed procedures, and any report that assures the statements. The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy keeps a public lookup for firms that do that work.
The long list is the menu on the home page. Close, cash, one decision, the return, owner pay once the election is known, and the filings that belong to a controller's month.
If the signature is the thing you need, stop here. The rest of this site will not become that signature.
Pointing at a single finance service and doing it well is ordinary advisory work, and no CPA license sits behind it here. If the thing you actually need signed is an audit, a review, a compilation or an assurance report, that gets named on the first call and pointed at a firm that holds the license. The same goes for standing in front of the IRS on your behalf. Payroll gets set up on a provider you own rather than run from this desk. The rest of the limit is written on the disclosures page.
Source. Who may practice public accountancy in Texas, and what a report is allowed to claim, are set by Occupations Code 901.451, 901.453 and 901.456, read 29 September 2026 at statutes.capitol.texas.gov.
Breadth is the long list from one desk. Height is the short list sitting under the seat, still respected, still someone else's signature.
I was shopping services. I can see which line was a license, and which lines were the work.
